Our accommodation does not provide meals and for this reason I have taken the liberty of drawing up a little advice on where you can eat around us.

RECOMMENDED RESTAURANTS AND BUFFETS

On the way to us there is an excellent restaurant in Jablonec nad Nisou : https://www.hotelnabaste.cz/, about 30 min. from Desná

From experience, I know that the kids want to play with us and no one wants to go to a restaurant anywhere. I recommend to order food in advance from a company from the Giant Mountains (https://www.expresmenu.com/e-shop/), the food is cooked, you just heat it up. No chemistry, they have special food in bags, vacuum packed.

DESNA
You can get a beer in the guesthouse at Můstek (by the ski jump in Desná), the master only pours into a jug for non-accommodated guests (11° Bernard.), ring the bell, tel. +420 777 666 273. Unfortunately, he does not cook..

Marcel Vlček – www.stravovani-catering.cz , possibility of food delivery directly to the apartments. The food is sealed in disposable containers, the menu can be found on the website.
You can order food from Monday to Friday on tel: 736 754 621, or you can visit Mr. Vlček’s catering in Desná. Mr. Vlček will also arrange all refreshments for your family or business event by appointment. I can only recommend his food! If you want blueberry dumplings, you need to order them 2 days in advance, he always makes them fresh.

Not far from our accommodation is the ski resort Detoa, there is a tulle bistro STODOLA, there is always homemade soup and something sweet (dumplings, pancakes, cake) The buffet with indoor seating is open from 1.12. to 31.10. from 10.00-17.00. If you wish, you can buy food to go. More info. on their Fb page barn

Cross-country skiing and walking enthusiasts will appreciate the cozy KROMER’S HUT right by the Burst Dam. They also cook very tasty.

We recommend BAKERY Mašek in Smržovka (glass building) or in Tanvald. Their pastries taste delicious!

ALBRECHTICE:

Tanvaldský špičák: a lookout tower with a restaurant, they cook well.

Detoa: buffet , excellent soup

After the stairs to Marianska hora about 2,5 km is the guesthouse at Kaplicka.

Pension Berounka – opposite is Marianska hora.

On the way home we recommend a stop at the pizzeria Pietro in Mala Skála, or you can order and pick up your food. It’s 25 minutes from Desná and you can really eat well. There is plenty to choose from.
